Kona Crown Coffee — The Ritz-Carlton of Coffee

I honestly don’t know if “exemplary customer service” even begins to describe my experience with Kona Crown Coffee. The best comparison I can make is this: Kona Crown Coffee is the Ritz-Carlton of coffee.

I’m pretty particular about my coffee, and when I’m buying something as special as 100% Kona, I want great coffee—but I also appreciate dealing with people who genuinely care about what they grow, what they sell, and the people buying it.

That’s exactly what I found with Pam, one of the owners.

During my month-long stay here in Hawaii, I wanted to purchase green Kona coffee beans to take home and roast myself. Pam personally took the time to walk me through the different varieties and grades of Kona coffee, explain the flavor profiles, talk about roasting, and help me figure out what would work best for me since I generally prefer a medium roast.

And when I say she took the time, she really took the time. We went back and forth through emails, she answered my questions, made suggestions, and even gave me advice about properly storing green coffee beans.

So naturally, I bought five pounds.

Then I added a couple more pounds.

Then I thought, well, I’m already this far in… and added another five pounds. 😂

Apparently, I’m not leaving Hawaii without enough Kona coffee to survive for a while.

But what impressed me most wasn’t simply the coffee—it was the personal attention and genuine passion behind it.

I’ve always believed that the way a business treats its customers tells you a lot about the way it treats its product. And after dealing with Pam, I have a feeling that if these coffee plants receive even a fraction of the care and attention she gives her customers, those have to be some very happy coffee trees.

I’m already planning another trip back to Hawaii in several months, and Pam was gracious enough to invite me to visit the Kona Crown farm. You can bet I’m taking her up on that invitation.

So, if you’re sitting on the fence trying to decide where to buy your Kona coffee, I can tell you where I’ll be buying mine.

Kona Crown Coffee has earned a customer for life.

Outstanding coffee. Incredible knowledge. Genuine people. And customer service at a level that has become incredibly rare.

Five stars doesn’t seem like enough. ☕🌺🌴
